I AM SICK...
I am sick and I hate being sick, the one thing I hate more than being sick is being sick with a sore throat. I just wasn't going to settle this time around with a sore throat. I asked my mom to bust out the salt water for me to gargle. I have only tried this once in my life, and I hated it so much I swore I would never do it ever again, and would rather go through the pain of a sore throat. Well yesterday I put down my pride, and I did it, I gargled with that gross salt water, and guess what?! It didn't work! I went to work still with a sore throat. I came home looking for something else to help. My recent trip to Amvets brought me home with a new book on healing herbs. I oped the book and found the section for sore throats.. here is what I found....
"If your throat is infected and mucusy, I recommend gargling with teas made from infection fighting, inflammation-soothing herbs such as sage, thyme, goldenseal, echinacea, or myrrh." says Upton - The Women's book of Healing Herbs secrets from 90 top herbal healers
So I then looked through my kitchen to see what I could find. I found thyme. I followed the recipe on how to make the homemade tea, and made it in 2 minutes. I then gargled my lil life away with that tea, and instantly after I did this my throat was soothed, no more sore throat!! Still today, I woke up with a fine throat, a little scratchy, but not sore! HALLELUJAH!!!!! I gargled a glass today too though just in case ;)
If you want to know more details on what to do and such let me know!

Experimental Cake Project...
So I am currently OBSESSED with amvets. It is awesome! I got so much stuff there crazy cheap. I love making cake. I just love cake. And when I was at amvets I found this Cake setup thingy that indents your cake with a picture of such.. The picture isn't really indented but raised.. as you can see here...
Anyways the project became a tragedy. All went wrong, the pan was not greased enough and everything stuck and it ended up like this... :/
The end project looked like this......
It tasted really good though, I have to add. But isn't it tragic. :( Maybe another test drive will be coming up again soon.

Sister Missionaries....
Sister missionaries over the years have been stereo typed. Well I use to think the same thing... but I strongly disagree now.
Sisters don't go on missions just because they are socially awkward. They don't go on missions because they are just sad puppies who can't find a man to marry.
They go on missions because it's what they have been prompted to do in their lives. They go because they want to spread the gospel. They go because they want to become better people. They go because they are suppose to go.
The End.

ME and This Kid...
We know each other.. sorta.. kinda well ;)
Basically we know each other REALLY WELL!!!
Funny story.. We were in Arizona getting my teeths fixed by his step dad and visiting his family.. and one gorgeous warm night me and Cam were talking to his mom. Cam was sitting in a chair and I was standing behind him, no way he could see me. Well he makes a comment to his mom, and I did this face...
Cam still facing forward says.... I HEARD THAT FACE!!!!!! I go what face?! AND HE SHOWS ME THE SAME EXACT FACE I DID! How does he do it?!! Either I am a really obvious person, or he just knows me crazy well... He impresses me more everyday

ALICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So growing up me and my best friend Shelbi Johnson for some reason always called each other Alice, and Belle, we actually still do.... So I have always had a love for Alice in Wonderland, it is my favorite disney movie. So you can only imagine how stoked I was for the movie coming out!
So me and Shelbi had a fall out back in high school, you know the usual boyfriends, different schools, things just got complicated and we sorta lost touch. Well we had a reunion! We are on the same soccer team and we planned a girls night out on Thursday, well that happened to be the day ALICE CAME OUT! Sooooo we went to the show!!!
So Alice in Wonderland...... We weren't sure how busy it was going to be and we didn't really have much to do that night so around 9:30 we went to the movies, bought our tickets ( Belle got a nice coupon for free popcorn and I got a free movie ticket! Woohoo!), then we went to the friendly neighborhood gas station and got snacks, then we didn't know what to do till midnight!
Well with some miracle she had chairs in the back of her car and a nice big blanket! We camped out, second in line for alice in wonderland! BAHAHA It was hilarious! We met a few girls, chatted with them, shared snacks, and had a blast. Then a hour or so later, who shows up in line behind me? KEVIN WILLIAMS! What are the chances! So it was just a party in line for Alice. It was fun seeing all the people dressed up and stuff....
THEN FINALLY WE WERE LET INTO THE THEATRE! We got the exact seats we wanted and it was great! Unfortunately we somehow spilled half of our treats on the ground, and this man next to me was crazy High! Screaming and talking to himself the whole movie! Other than that it was great, well wait actually I was exhausted! I almost fell asleep, but thankfully the movie was entertaining enough it kept me awake.

I loved the movie, it wasn't what I expected but it was great! I won't share details to spoil it for anyone but I thought it would be the disney story of Alice in Wonderland, which it was, but with a twist. I guess it was also off the book, Through the Looking Glass! It was a wonderful unexpected surprise! GO SEE IT!

The Little Things.....
The little things make the biggest difference! Maybe it's just me, but it's huge to me. Seriously the littlest thing can change a person's day! Like today, someone just said the smallest but most sincere compliment to me, and it just lit up my day!
A few weeks ago I was in Idaho, my grandfather passed away and the whole family was there. I never realized it before, but my mom's side of the family is so freaking loving! We were always hugging and kissing and complimenting each other. It was amazing, I have never felt so much love in just one week before. It made me realize something....
The simple words of a compliment or an I LOVE YOU can make a huge difference sometimes!
A family member would just come sit by me and hold me, and squeeze me. Sometimes just come up and say they love me. Or just tell me something nice they think about me. IT was soooo amazing what the smallest gesture did. It changed my life!
I challenge all you people in the world out there, where ever you are, to do something for someone everyday, even the smallest thing! SAY I LOVE YOU, no I don't think those words can ever be over used or spoken too much, mostly I think they aren't said enough! TELL SOMEONE YOU LOVE THEM! COMPLIMENT THEM! HUG THEM! You don't even need WORDS most of the time. Write a note, do something even if anonymous to change a persons life one day at a time. The smallest thing can change someone, can change their perspective on something, it can make their life worth living!
~JUST LOVE~

Working? yes, still at Fish house whenever I get the chance.
Hobbies? I play soccer 3 times a week, in Poway, San Marcos, and Escondido. Its a ball! I am pretty banged and bruised up right now but I love every minute of it.
Dating? Nope, and happy with that!
Social life? BAHAHA not a huge one right now, my best friend Stephanie just left on her mission the Chile! But my other best friend just came home from CHILE! Anyways I am pretty happy with how my life is right now. And my current books are keeeeping me plenty busy!
